Dining on the patio.

Curling truly is a game to be enjoyed by all ages. The Club provides instruction programs for all skill levels, from beginners to intermediate, and we offer a wide variety of league choices with scheduled day and evening curling for ladies, men and mixed leagues. BGCC recognizes that the future of the sport of curling is in the Juniors, and we offer an active Junior program with many “Little Rockers” events. In addition to the normal league play, the club also hosts a number of Family and Social events such as the Sunday Supper club and Family Day.

Over the years, the Club has hosted many Ontario Curling Championships and has had the honor of claiming the provincial championship banner in both Men’s and Ladies competitions. In November 2009, the Club played host to the Canadian Mixed National Championship, which hosted world class curlers and garnered media coverage which brought curling at BGCC to thousands of homes. In addition to the outside events, the Club provides a wide variety of in-house curling events as well.

Curling comes to the Burlington Golf & Country Club in 1959...

A growing interest in the sport of curling hit southern Ontario in the 1950’s and BGCC took the opportunity to build a rink with a unique floating slab, which housed six sheets of ice. The members saw this as a way of providing a facility which allowed year round activity to help the Club’s overall membership to grow and prosper, and the 2009—2010 curling season marked the Club’s 50th Anniversary. 2011 saw a 6 month construction phase which brings a new state of the art Curling Rink Floor to our facility. Honoured guest, Glenn Howard, threw the first rock on the new floor.
