ESID (Electronic Storm Identification Device):

A Storm Detection system was installed at the beginning of 2012 to track storms as they approach our area. Whenever there is a strike within the harmful area (0-5 miles), the sirens will alert everyone to stop play immediately and seek safe shelter. The first siren, to immediately suspend play, is a high-pitched siren-like sound and the second siren, to resume play, is a quieter constant beeping tone. In addition, there are flashing lights in the Parking lot and on the 13th tee that indicate it is not safe to return to the course. Everyone must remain in their safe area until the siren (constant beeping tone) indicates that it is safe to go back out and resume play. Here is a summary to download.
